Keith Pierce, APR (accredited in public relations) is a communications strategist, author, and speaker with more than 30 years of experience helping organizations and individuals find—and elevate—their voice. A former U.S. Army officer turned executive communications leader, he has led strategic marketing, branding, and public relations efforts across higher education, government, and the nonprofit sector. He currently serves as assistant dean of strategic communications and marketing at American University Washington College of Law.

Keith is the author of SPEAK UP! The Art of Communicating, a practical guide to mastering everyday conversations and leading with clarity and confidence. He’s also the creator of the Keith & Kevin children’s book series, which draws from his experiences growing up as an identical twin in West Philadelphia. Each book delivers heart, humor, and life lessons for young readers.

His forthcoming debut novel, TimeSpin, is a genre-bending sci-fi thriller that explores memory, identity, and the consequences of tampering with time.

Keith holds a communications degree from La Salle University and is accredited in public relations by the Public Relations Society of America. 

Now based in Charlotte, NC, with his wife, Lisa, he’s a father of five—including two stepchildren—and a lifelong daydreamer who believes in showing up with honesty, speaking with clarity, and never stopping the story.
